Talking to the shop they like the auto because no clutch adjustment, or replacement needed and is now covered under warranty. And most new drivers have auto restrictions on there license.

Anyone know what running out of the California Central Valley yards is like? Where is orientation for California drivers?

Regional or local. Want to stay fairly close to the West Coast.

That's is also how I manually upshift. Didn't have to do that before the software "upgrade". You can also flick the stalk twice quickly to double shift.

Just had the trans fault again yesterday. I know the routine now so I just keep driving with it bonging away and look for a rest area or wide shoulder to pull over and switch off.

First few times it happened I had traffic backed up on an exit ramp when the truck wouldn't move when stopped. Now I know to avoid those with an active fault.
