This is a first for me. I picked up a whiskey tank that has no box at the back and no pump. Seems like a pretty old trailer too.

I haven’t ever seen one like that either.Cobrawastaken Thanks this.

I have pulled a few of them. They are pretty old, lighter than the regular whiskey tanks due to lack pump and heating etc.
Tanker_82 and Cobrawastaken Thank this. -
Yeah I was about 32k empty and usually whiskey tanks put me at about 34k

Is running Canada a requirement if you live in the northeast? I have an ancient DUI from way back in 1994 that prevents me from going to Canada. If I ever have to leave my local spring water tanker gig, I would probably want to stay in tankers, and Indian River is at the top of my list of potential employers.
-
To my knowledge, it’s not a requirement.Voyager1968 Thanks this.

Did your Winter Haven terminal fair ok with the hurricane?
Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this. -
I’m not sure, but I haven’t heard anything or received any fleet messages about damage. I’m in the Pacific Northwest right now. I was at the Tulare, CA office yesterday, and someone said they had lost electricity in Florida for a bit during the storm. That’s the only thing I’m aware of.Flat Earth Trucker, CalculatedRisk, xlsdraw and 1 other person Thank this.

I'm taking a load out to Florida so I'll let you know next weekxlsdraw Thanks this.

I was there today. The big Indian River Logo sign above the truck entrance was laying in pieces on the ground. Apart from that you wouldn't be able to tell a storm passed through.
On US 27 cars were backed out onto the street trying to buy gas and a few traffic lights weren't working. Those were the only noticeable things in the area.nextgentrucker, 88 Alpha, Tanker_82 and 2 others Thank this.
