I have to admit that I am guilty of just securing the dome with one handle when I am heading to a tank wash. Didn't know it would be a DOT issue on a non hazmat empty. Will have to close all the latches from now on.

Split sleeper? What the hell is that lol, but yeah, although they were two trucks in front of me, 9hrs is still crazy, plus they were all them bays at the fronts and the ones at the back that was available, I guess what @Tanker_82 said was true. Plus $10 or $15 after 4hrs here at Bynum. So I will only get pay 5 of those 9hrs... Btw, I'm still sitting here at the Love's to get my trailers brake fixed when I got a load that's due in Murfreesboro, TN Thursday, better the load risk being late than getting put out of service for misaligned brakes LMFAO!!

Yeah, I'm not ready at all for the Midwest and Westcoast, I haven't gotten an inspection yet but I feel like I will get my first one in the Westcoast.

It’s not crazy at all. Very common in the tanker world.

Definitely common and sucks when the company enjoys ignoring detention request

You can get a violation for a dog ear even being too loose. Always make sure they are at least snug

####, Food grade is getting hit hard huh, hopefully things get better by next year, although Love's finished with me at 9 AM today, I still put in about 400 miles, I'll be in Murfreesboro tomorrow, I would even go to the plant if I could stay there, so I could be the first to get unloaded. I think two other drivers are going there, hopefully I get there first or at least second or it might another 9hrs for me again...
