Thanks! So you think I should stay here for at least 2 years?

Going back to Cypress wouldn’t be as damaging to your work history as it would hopping to another random company.

oh I agree, but you just started you know give it some time if it continues to demonstrate that that’s a regular pattern then yes I would look to make a change

@nextgentrucker also don’t be afraid to speak up to your dispatcher or the operations manager if that’s the person over your dispatcher if they don’t have a team lead in between… Because they’re also trying to get to know your habits and how you like to operate as well as you are learning their way of doing business…

    More than likely waiting.

Waiting a few hours the first week lol. Come on, it’s one big delay at IRT and crap excuses why the driver doesn’t get delay pay. In March payroll literally told me, we’re still working on December’s delay pay. They beat you down until you accept uncompensated delays as part of the job. Good luck.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

Cypress seems like a decent company. I see them all over SC. But, I’m not a flatbedder.

Tanker work is valves, pumps, airlines, and hoses. If you don’t have that equipment, you’re just pulling freight and will be compensated accordingly.

I just noticed he was at Bynum. My bad, I picked this thread up on an IRT search. Is it necessary to sling insults?
