That’s a nice run. I’m in Wells, NV. They haven’t said where I’ll be loading once washed tomorrow yet.

Tanker_82 and Vic Firth Thank this.

Well I no longer said that and I got my preplan. Picking up apple juice down the road from the wash and taking it to City of Industry, CA

That’s the main run up there. You’ll probably see a dozen other IRT trucks running around Prosser/Grandview. Most of them will be going where you’re going too. A lot of times when you get empty in LA they’ll let you dead head back up there or Hood River, OR for another one if you ask. It’s probably where I’ll go from Bakersfield.
Vita Clean wash is a busy place sometimes. Plan on 4-6 hours there. They have free laundry and a decent shower. When I get there I pull up the hill and get in line for a bay before I ever get out. If you don’t, and you park off to the side down below in the lot you might have 3 trucks show up within 10 minutes and bushwack you. Lol.
It’s a good run and it’s where I try to spend most of my time.

Cool. Thanks for all of the helpful info. How’s the customer to deliver to? I’ll be getting to the wash around noon tomorrow.

I usually plan for a 10 hour break at the customer you’re going to. Little place with Mexican food next door (closes at 8 or 9 I think). Customer has a corner in the back where we all park. There’s a drivers lounge with a bathroom and some chairs outside. If the weather is nice there’s usually 4-5 IRT sitting around visiting on the patio. I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than my 10 hour break there unless I was purposely waiting on traffic to die out before leaving LA.

They changed my preplan. Still going to City of Industry, but I’m picking up at Fruitsmart in Grandview. Do they have parking? Might be out of hrs once I’m loaded there.
