Yeah, I did a load from Murray KY to Dodge City KS, and I took all US and state roads cause it was the fastest way, and they were mostly flat. That was a nice load. The one they send me home with is crazy though, isn't this overweight... Also, it's 108F in Florida right now, and there's a Cypress driver finishing securing his load, glad I'm not him.... and I thought hauling a 50,000 lbs sheetrock load with Cypress was heavy, didn't know tanker hauled that much weight, LMFAO!!!
JForce28 and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
Only you know if it’s overweight. Should be a pretty standard weight amount you can haul with a food grade setuphope not dumb twucker and nextgentrucker Thank this.

Cool, well, I'm gonna take the back-roads so I should be good.hope not dumb twucker Thanks this.

I had the option of hitting the exit and turning back. You may not always have that.
I don't know if dispatch was understanding or not. I called and told them I don't know how to chain and didn't feel safe continuing. Maybe they called me all kinds of names and put me on their black list after I hung up, but at that point I didn't really care.hope not dumb twucker and nextgentrucker Thank this. -
At the very least get your twic card and see if they can put you loading out of Wilmington DE. Bynum loads a lot of juice at the port there. We used to load a lot but it seems that Bynum has picked up more than us.Speed_Drums and nextgentrucker Thank this.

Looks overweight to me. We pretty much run the same equipment and I bank on being 32k with full fuel and a sanitary tank (I don't think you guys run whiskey tanks). Any load over 48k is iffy, over 50k is definitely overweight unless you are not in the usual 579 I see you guys in.
On the plus side, the company pays the overweight charges. Still sucks that you have to waste time at the weigh station getting the ticket...and putting yourself at higher risk for an inspection.Speed_Drums, hope not dumb twucker and nextgentrucker Thank this. -
LOL!!
I was gonna get it before I left Cypress but never got the chance too, and now I don't know if I want too cause in orientation the guy doing it said you'll wait a lot at the Port so I don't know...
Yeah, like I said I will mostly take state road 60 and when I got one to 95 I only have about 15 miles to go before getting off the exit. I don't think there's a scale there, I'd have to look though. The bills did have that weigh ticket with them, I don't know how true that is, if a jockey truck weighted it or something. -
What is your empty weight on your combo @nextgentrucker add the net weight and there you go. There’s no scale on 95 between 60 and the fort pierce exits, I run it regularly, actually headed there in the AM, off kings hwy.
nextgentrucker and Tanker_82 Thank this. -
It may not be accurate to the pound but there is no way it is off by 3,900 pounds which is about what you will need to get under 80knextgentrucker Thanks this.
