That’s a sharp looking rig. When I saw your post it brought back memories. I’m a former fellow end dumper myself. I’m not sure if you read my post a few weeks ago, but this was my old “hot rod day cab” that I mentioned. These two pictures are from 2012, so 13 years ago. I would’ve been 30 years old at that time and didn’t have gray hair yet.

We hauled petroleum coke out of the Phillips 66 refinery with ours. We would back out onto the pier at the Port of Catoosa (Tulsa) and dump it on barges, as well as different power plants and what not. Coke is a byproduct that the refinery produced. It was non-haz and looked similar to charcoal. We also hauled out of Delek Refinery, Holly Refinery, and some others. For back hauls, they would set us up with sand or gravel to a concrete plant.

Oh ok, so you home every night or every weekend?

Nice, I'd imagine you still look good 13 years later lol, me, I don't wanna get old, but it's an unfortunate part of life.

@nextgentrucker usually home most days, long days though, but I regularly run to Birmingham and Atlanta. @Tanker_82 you and I are about the same age, been doing this for a while now, would like to find more of a small time operation with older well maintained trucks, but options for frameless work are limited in Florida, I would like to relocate north or to the Midwest to open up more opportunity.

    nextgentrucker and Tanker_82 Thank this.

We have a terminal in Fair Oaks, Indiana. Of course, you would be pulling a food grade tanker instead of an end dump with us, but I figured I’d mention it.

I appreciate the info @Tanker_82 im not cut out for the OTR lifestyle though, 2 nights out is about my max :). I like the dump life, just have to find that perfect job, or as close as I can get to finding it.

Cool, I want to leave Florida and I wanted to move to Texas, Silbee, a small town just 15 miles north of Beaumont but I don't know. Seems like everywhere in the US natural disaster follows you, the south, in Florida you have hurricanes, the Westcoast, you have fire snow and ice and the northeast, you also have snow and ice with the cold too and I think the Midwest are tornados right? It's crazy out here, is there anywhere in the US where I can move to and live in peace lol.

I’ll be honest with you, and it might sound crazy, I lived in western PA for a few years, just south of Pittsburgh and it was peaceful, things could’ve changed so don’t quote me, but the scenery was beautiful, the winters weren’t too harsh, the job market is strong and the housing is very affordable. Also, the people are generally nice. I lived in Washington PA, not far from Wheeling.

Cool, Pittsburgh seems like a nice city, I want to live in the country though, I wanted to buy some land somewhere flat with a lot of trees ( maybe a forest, that's a distant dream though ) that's about 20-30 miles from the city, build a house there, I don't know how expensive lands are overthere. I don't want to move to far away from family either, we're all in Florida, that's why Texas would've been perfect, maybe Georgia, South Carolina and even North Carolina, but I don't know what good places they have, the market and cost of living in these states. Why'd you left PA to come to Florida btw if you don't mind me asking.
