I usually fuel at TA/Petro when I’m in an area or one of those states like Michigan, New York, etc. where they don’t have very many Loves. I agree they have the nicest showers, plus you can go to their app and see how many are available before going inside.

Hood River, Oregon
Salem, Oregon
Baton Rouge , Louisiana
Hammond, Louisiana
Those are the only ones I can remember that require a scale ticket before and after loading.
The 1st 2 will be a Cat scale. Baton Rouge is a drop/hook but you have to take them a light weight ticket for the tank you leave with them, then take the loaded tank to Cash’s Truck Stop across from the Loves and weigh it heavy, then go back and give it to them to get your paperwork.
Hammond, LA you scale at the ma and pa truck stop by the motels that’s about 1/2 mile East of the plant load or unload at. I think it’s a Valero but can’t remember. That one you don’t have to pay it’s a setup account with the customer.Evomalo and bigcat1124 Thank this. -
We have one in Washington we have to scale first. Trying to remember to place, but it says to scale at the Gearjammer truck stop down the road before getting there. I got swapped to a different load before I picked up, so i can’t say first hand.

Don't you usually scale after being loaded to make sure you're legal? I know I usually scale any load over 34k.

Yes, at the customers property on their scale. We were referring to the few places we go that don’t have a scale on site. That’s when we have to use truck stop scales before and after loading.Evomalo Thanks this.

Getting unloaded now. Had some confusion this morning about delivery time. I was told I had a 5am appointment. I walked up to the office and no one was around. I found a guy and he said they don’t start till 7am. No problem. Hadn’t started my clock since I stayed at the customer. I come back around 6:45, a different guy asks, where have you been?
I told him what happened. He said no big deal, I’ll unload you next. Got lucky. BTW, had a big time yesterday on the Strip. LolPaddlewagon, motocross25 and Tanker_82 Thank this. -
I made it to Sulphur Springs, TX yesterday evening and got unloaded in the middle of the night. Woke up this morning and had 4 hours 53 minutes left on my 70. Had just enough time to high tail it to OKC for my home time. We’re moving to San Antonio at the end of May so we’re taking the first load of our stuff down this weekend that way we don’t have to make 2 trips back to back next month.motocross25 Thanks this.
