What traffic? In the Northeast? Lol. It was crazy yesterday. Going around Washington DC , thru Baltimore and Philadelphia. They can have it.

Think I’ll just sit here and sip my coffee and appreciate the desert scrub and red rock mountains lining the horizon around me. Lol.

I don’t blame you for that. I would do the same. Going to call tomorrow and see if I can get a jumpstart on something heading west.motocross25, Crusader66 and Tanker_82 Thank this.

I D/H this afternoon in Strasburg, and headed to St Pete. Called dispatch and get preplanned on a Auburndale to Waco, TX load once empty early Monday morning. Glad to be heading back west! Lol

I dropped/hooked in Tempe. Heading to Oxnard, CA to load for Salem, Oregon. I called Cali office and asked if I could come out and run North and South for awhile.

That sounds good. Hopefully I’ll head towards Mission once empty in Waco and head out that way. I’m st the Petro in Raphine. Very nice place. Used to stop here years ago when it was still White’s.

Waco is a drop and hook on the receiving end, and if I remember right, I don’t think you can wear shorts inside the plant at Auburndale when you’re getting loaded. I’d bet money you’ll go to Mission afterwards. There’s always plenty of loads down there that will get you kicked out here to Tempe, Ontario, Riverside, etc.. Senior is pretty good about letting you have your pick.

Receiver in Tempe told me they’re going to be receiving a lot of loads from South, TX all the way thru May. It’s a drop/hook as well. If you go there, there’s 3 slots at the plant where we drop loaded. If they’re all full, you might have to unhook on the street, pull an empty out, then back yours in. If there’s an empty slot when you show up, don’t waste anytime taking it. Another IRT will show up and bushwack ya. Might result in him getting the empty one and leave you waiting on the next. It’s kind of tight quarters there. Most of us back in from off the street with the plant on your drivers side.

Sounds good to me. Not going home till next month. Taking a little longer off time next month. 5 days, but I’m staying out for almost 2 months, unless I pass thru like I did last week. I’m in need of some wind therapy. Lol
Crusader66 and Tanker_82 Thank this. -
Thanks for the heads up. That’s the load they offered me last time I was in Mission. Sounded like a good run.Crusader66 Thanks this.
