Yep. I liked running faster too but my weekly paid miles aren’t any different now than they were when I could run 71. That’s why I don’t sacrifice the comfort for a little more speed.

I hear you. Definitely not going to sweat in the truck just for a few miles per hour. Made it here to the Mission yard. I would say they will keep me on my current load. I only have 19 left on my 70 and don’t get any back the next two days.

I’m in Washington almost finished with my wash out. Gonna leave here, top off with fuel at the Loves, grab a bite to eat, then head over to Grandview and spend the night while they load me. That place in Salem, OR stuck it to us yesterday. About 9 of us loaded in Oxnard on Sunday to go to the same place where they unload it into 55 gallon barrels 1 at a time. You can imagine how that turned out when 9 trucks showed up a few hours apart from 1 another. Lol. Fast forward 250 miles and the same 9 of us stacked on top of each other at the Prosser tank wash today. Miles will still be good this week so it’s all good. I needed to do laundry and clean on my truck anyway.

Yep. I’m finishing my 34 now and I’ll be heading to Riverside soon. Said it should be ready by 11am

Do you know if there’s parking at this place? Riverside Creamery.

If it’s the place I’m thinking you might be able to park with the box vans along the curb but I don’t want to give you bad info on accident. I’m going to say no just to be safe. I’m currently at Ludfords in Riverside parked along the curb. Was supposed to be here this morning, got here about 9pm due to my hold ups in Salem and Prosser. Dispatch told me they think this place is closed all weekend and I may have to wait till Monday but to go ahead and try it. I’m hoping tomorrow someone shows up. There’s about 5 IRT trailers for me to switch out with. Too bad they’re all on the other side of a fence and locked gate...

If you get in a bind on parking, lookup Chino truck and trailer wash on Euclid near CA 60. We wash there and there’s usually an IRT or 2 parked outside their fence where they drop the clean tanks taking their break. You can probably camp out there for a night without anyone bothering you. When you get off 60 or I-10 on Euclid and you’re going South the tank wash will be on your left side a mile or 2 past CA 60. You have to go past then U turn to come back to it. Not a big place, easy to miss it. Should be 3 or 4 tanks outside though.

Man, that stinks if you have to sit there all weekend. Thanks for the info about the wash. I go by there and check it out. If not, I’ll just park in Ontario at one of the truck stops. Fuel soon don’t have to pay to park there. Should get there early enough that getting a parking spot shouldn’t be a problem.
