I just left the wash. I lucked out and got right into a bay within 30 minutes of being there. By the time I was washed and leaving there were trucks lined up down the hill, so you’re not missing anything by having to take a 10. Lol.

That’s cool. I was there 7 hrs last time. Hope not to repeat that. Lol. Are we allowed to park in front of the bay while they are closed to be first in line? I’m going to be there around 1:30 or so.

Yep. You can also unhook and let them jockey it in with the yard horse but I wouldn’t recommend it unless your load time is for the following day. I tried it once. Came back that afternoon and my tank was still sitting outside dirty. I was informed the dropped trailers don’t hold their place in line.

I believe I’ll stay attached. Lol. Thanks for the info. Don’t have a preplan yet, but I’m assuming I’ll pick up juice close by. Probably head back to the LA area. Is that what you’re doing?

I have 17 hours and 4 minutes left on my 70 with no gain back tonight or tomorrow. I’m loading for Watsonville, CA. But I talked to Cali dispatch today, told them about my hours and my concerns of making this delivery, then not having enough time left to get out of there where I end up getting hung out to dry in the customers parking lot for a day. Told them things would work best for me if I could get a 34 in up here. They said that was fine and that their main concern was just getting the load put on the tank.
I’m loading tonight, then tomorrow I’m going to go back to Prosser, make a grocery run, do some laundry, and head South Thursday morning.Crusader66, bigcat1124 and motocross25 Thank this. -
Do you guys ever run the coast on 101? I've seen Idaho Milk tankers around Eureka but I've never seen an IR.
Crusader66 and Tanker_82 Thank this. -
I unloaded in Carson, CA once and then dead headed up here. I ran the 101 just for some good scenery and something different. Even took the rig across the Golden Gate Bridge then worked my way to I-5 from San Fransico. That’s the farthest I’ve been on the 101.Crusader66, bigcat1124 and REO6205 Thank this.

Sitting in the tank wash. Got right into a bay. Was a interesting drive here this morning. I crossed the bridge into Washington and got on 14 east. For the first 15 miles or so, the wind was trying everything in its power to blow me off the road. Almost pulled over. It calmed down after that, but made it interesting driving along that river and the wind trying to blow you into it. Lol.

Had a very fast tank wash. Was given a preplan to pick up in Grandview, going to City Of Industry. Wow! I’m one of 13 IRT trucks here in the lot. Could be here awhile....
