Just crazy. Dispatch called and said if I get out at a decent time and head towards the yard, they’ll try and have me drop it there and keep running since, like you said, they’re not open on the weekend.

I’m pretty sure my destination is open Saturdays. So if I can get gone by tomorrow morning I should be ok.
Crusader66 and bigcat1124 Thank this. -
You guys make it out of there yet? They had a problem with my paperwork. Took forever to get my bills once loaded. He said, since he has worked there, he had never seen it such as mess as the last couple of days.
Crusader66 Thanks this. -
I never got loaded. Sat there from Tuesday evening until 2 hours ago (1pm Friday). My wash expired while sitting there. I finally got ahold of a dispatcher who took time to have a conversation about what was going on. He gave me 4 choices. 3 involved more waiting so I chose the 4th which is dead heading to Tulare, CA to rewashed and get a load down in that area. Word has it there is a ton of IRT at the Prosser wash on stand by, not getting washed until they find out what to do with them.Crusader66, bigcat1124 and motocross25 Thank this.

That is just crazy. I made it down to Grody’s and decided to take my break. I’ll going to stay at our yard tonight. They’re working on having me drop it. This was a complete mess.

Usually 72 hours. The place I was at is 48. Some places swab test it and if it doesn’t pass the bacteria test it’s getting rewashed.bigcat1124, motocross25, Crusader66 and 1 other person Thank this.

Yes it was. It will be fine with me if I don’t see Grandview, WA again for the next 3-4 months. I was also glad to get some communication about what was going on finally. Had a few conversations this morning that put a bad taste in my mouth. Getting the feeling your being dismissed never puts a guy in a good mood after you’ve been sitting in a parking lot for 60+ hours and you’re trying to get some answers why. For all you guys on here, if you’re ever under the Cali umbrella and get into a jam somewhere, call Chris before you talk to anyone else. He’s a good guy and also an ex-driver in the office out here and he doesn’t mind having a 5 minute conversation with you and being honest about where things stand. Being an ex-driver, he’ll talk to you like you’re a human being and won’t give you the “I’m too busy and could care less type attitude”.Last edited: May 18, 2018
