I haven’t used my TWIC card with IRT yet. I did use it some when I pulled open deck picking up equipment from the ports. As for a passport, I kind of wish I didn’t have one. I’d rather grab a loaded tank from Champlain, NY than have to go into Canada to get loaded. You do get an extra 200 for it but it can be a lot of hassle.

Yeah I’m sure it could be a hassle. I was thinking of doing it just to go to Canada haha. Never been. Probably not the greatest reason to get one, but they’re good for several years and I might actually use it one day anyways so why not.

I delivered in Hillsboro, WI on Friday afternoon. I drove down to Lafayette, IN to grab a washed tank Saturday. Ended up sitting at the Petro up the road from there till this morning. Had me run down to Memphis to drop that tank at the tank wash and I’m waiting until Wednesday morning to load up yeast out of here and take it Henderson, NV for a delivery on Saturday. I finished a 34 and will have taken another one by the time I leave.

You’ll probably get a good deadhead from Henderson to Grandview, Washington when you get empty on Saturday to finish out your week by the Monday night cutoff. That’s usually where they head me when I’ve been in Nevada, especially if you call California dispatch the day of your delivery and tell them you wouldn’t mind going up there. They’re good about working with you if you call the region you’re going to be in and let them know you need miles and want to work, etc.

I don’t think so, but I’m not 100% sure. I’ve never met any here or heard of any.

I had another great week. I left Grandview, Washington last Sunday and delivered in Auburndale, Florida on Friday. Then I brought one up to Barker, New York where I’m currently sitting right now (Sunday night / Monday morning). That’s 4,134 paid miles for the last 7 days.
