Good luck with a relay on that. Unless they have an hourly paid local driver with hours needing to be used or someone needing to get home it probably won't happen.
Superior has a no air/pump policy. We either air off the load or pump it off, never both at the same time. That must be some thick stuff and with 120 feet of hose plan to be there a while. How would you like to be the relay driver giving up a load with miles on it for whatever you get paid for the unload.
I would just get it there as soon as I could and make some layover pay. For us 24 hours is a little over $150. That is money that doesn't subtract from your 70. Surely there is some layover pay for you on that load. It could be better in the long run financially. Does Schneider pay for 34 hour resets on the road?

Honestly idk if they do pay for 34 hour resets but they pay $65 for layover and I trip planned again I will be arriving about 36 hours early so I sent in request for relay cause only get $25 for unload where as a regional guy gets more then me per unload/load but from what I have heard most of the locals get day pay not hourly
-
And from what I have been told the load is pressurize the tank while pump unload cause apparently it's think but with 5500 gallons in a 6000 gallon tank it has a hell of a surge
-
I am 99.999% SNI doesn't pay for 34 hour resets. But I only have Van experience and know they don.t pay on our side.
-
I know they do things differently for bulk and dry van like we can take then ohio turnpike lol

$65 hardly makes it worthwhile but it's better than nothing I guess. How do they pay it? Do you have to sit for 24 hours to get anything?
For us its 14 hours sitting paid for 10 at $15 per hour and repeat until we are moving. Even short delays can add some money to the check since we are on the clock anytime we sit more than 14 hours. There are lots of 2 and 3 hour layovers paid due to appointment times.
Hopefully your air/pump is into a plant pump. We are not allowed to run both our truck air and truck pump at the same time. Its too dangerous. -
Well my pump and air can't be ran at same time thankfully cause I push knob in it turns pump on pull it all the way out it's air compressor so not to worried just have to keep doing it when tank gets below 15 psi but for our layover pay it's $65 for 24 hours have to sit 24 hours to get it.
Some DBL's will let it slide at 20 hours or so but some won't.drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
So on an air/pump you guys air up the tank and pump until the pressure drops too 15, then air it up some more?
-
We air and pump often, but only when the customer supplies the air, I do alot of thick ploymers . Non hazmat of course, that need that extra push to get up and over to their tanks
