Also, I believe SNI contractors get a 6 month trial for the 4th one listed. I realize you will be on the company side of things, but I'm mentioning it so you can see the particular service offered. In reading some of the comments from the SNI Choice drivers who use, it appears many of them seek other options as their trial period ends. A CPA who specializes in the trucking industry can certainly be a big help, especially to those just starting out. After a while, you begin to understand what you CAN and CANNOT deduct and you can eventually do it yourself with the various tax software and apps available. Personally, I still let a CPA do mine.
Also, regarding the question you asked in the other thread, generally speaking, if you don't take per-diem, you will still be paid on a W-2. -
FYI!!! I PASSED my CDL Road Test today, I am good to go. Going to put my 2 week notice in at my job tomorrow....

I picked my position at Schneider. I picked Dedicated Georgia Pacific. She told me they pay loaded and unloaded. Is that true?

Do you have any advice for me? I have been driving every truck imagineable for th last 8years in the army but as a fueler(petroleum supply specialist) my main job was driving fuel tankers and 5k tankers. I have already got my CDL in Kansas with tanker endorsement and am waiting on my HAZMAT right now. I am looking for regional tanker jobs but I am willing to do regular trucking to get my foot in the door.

Schneider pays a driver whether the trailer is loaded or empty as long as they dispatch you. Another words if they tell you to drive somewhere they pay you.
