hey!It feels good to know i can talk to someone new to Schneider bulk division.Your right where i wanna be.Right now im currently
in trucking school with high hopes of landing in Schneider team bulk division hauling outta keasby nj.Wanted to ask you a few questions of your process to Schneider.
how soon after you finish trucking school did you enroll with Schneider?
When did you put in your online app?was it before you graduated trucking school or after?
How was the training was it hard?
what do they look for when training you?
how long must you drive with your Te before you go solo?
what are y'all average miles a week on the road so far?

cant wait to finish trucking school im anxious to see whats out there and what its like

    Orange713 Thanks this.

Well first few questions are hard for me because I applied a month after I turned 21 and they paid for me to go to school which they picked then they sent me straight to training and the training wasn't hard they are just looking to make sure u can do the job and don't quit and I was with my TE for 11 days because he was out that long but it depends on when ur TE thinks u r ready And my TE thought I was ready after first day but he was going home after two weeks for vacation and we got along really well so he had me stay with him the whole time and we made him a lot of money and for miles without TWIC about 1700-1900

    how old are you now?
im 22 its good to know we are almost on the same page.so far from reading your thread i wouldn't mind teaming up with you to run bulk for Schneider.
How did you get them to pay for your school?only thing i seen them offer was reimbursement after i paid for the school outta my own pocket with a school of my choice
wish i knew they would pay and send you to a school of they choice

I am still 21 of course I turned 21 back in December and I applied in January but there was an application choice for Atlanta to do that some areas if they are really looking for drivers they will do it, and I have heard teams make good money I had someone I met at the training facility I was gonna team with but after a month he quit cause kept getting unlucky with trailers not being there or crappy loads but that's the life of trucking

Yea they start .38 for the 1st 3months then .42, by the end of the year .48
im considering team because you don't waste time on the road the truck is always moving (you sleep i drive,i sleep you drive)
ok after you applied in January how soon after did they send you to start your training at the driving school?

lol ahh man right after you told me about Schneider paying for the school i went on the website and found one right near me im so mad right now lol
i already paid outta my pocket for a trucking school
im pretty sure i could of went to a trucking school of their choice and received good quality training for what they want you to have
im mad im just seeing that tho!
my road test is on the 20th if i happen to not pass i might go with Schneider training depending on how long is the training?

Schneider has tuition reimbursement, so don't worry about it.
