oh god no. We do EVERYTHING when its a Nalco load, unless its going to a Nalco plant and then their personal do the work. It can be a pita sometimes but usually good miles + accessory pay. I did one where it was a single compartment being unloaded into 8 seperate tanks, 150 here, 200 there kind of deal. Took about 8 hours to do but I got paid for each as if it was its own unload, $25 per.

No, they do the loading. When its a Nalco plant they do the work. And that one with the 8 tanks was outrageous. None of the tanks were near each other so I had to break everything down, pack it all up, then drive to the next location and start over...Also was a caustic so had to wear chem suit. But 99% of the time its just one compartment = one tank. All Nalco does is add some paperwork and extra steps like phoning in before offload for final approval. I look at it as they are selling our expertise to their customers so when we are making the delivery its expected that we do 100% of the work. Something like that anyways

You will unload yourself at a few Nalco plants but not too many. The one in Wyoming actually has a Schneider driver that does nothing but that plant. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

When I switched over to bulk temporarily the trainer I had has the biggest cake walk job ever. All he does is shuttle clean empties from the Kankakee il tank wash to I believe basf in Kankakee. 2.5 miles on way, then bobtail back to get the next empty. Has to prep all the trailer with cable seals and whatever other requirements. Mon-fri salary position, occasional local delivery with an unload lol

Well I give Schneider a plus for what they did for me this weekend I decided to cancel my vacation right after I got here cause lot of stuff going on here so didn't wanna be here and so got my cab air bag fixed and a few other small things on truck and they said they didn't have any loads from Thursday till Saturday and said they have two loads leaving Atlanta one to Ellwood City and one to Dallas and they asked me which one I wanted instead of telling me

    realsupatrucka and Orange713 Thank this.
