Company driver, average miles 150 per day, day shift 6am to 8pm home every night, paid by the cubic meter (tonnage). Majority of the job is loading and unloading. Basically drive to oil lease location, hook up to tank and pump on the load, drive back to disposal facility, dump the load into a pit, entire process for a load takes about an hour and a bit. This isn't highway work , it's oil field roads, short driving distances, high load counts per day. Today I did 11 loads in 14 hours. It's a hustle but I enjoy it and it makes the day go quick when a guys busy all day.
