I would pay that tax twice a year if it meant I didn't have to own a POS non air brake trailer!!!

    Chewy911 and Night_driver Thank this.

How much per year did you average on tires, brakes and bearings?

On my 2012 trailer so far 1 set of brakes 1 set of wheel bearings on one wheel and 1 set of tires so far.
My home bussness is a transmission general repair shop so a lot of maintenance all done in shop by me.
    Maintenance sure means a lot.
    Another factor is abuse.
A lot of people don't have a clue what abuse is.
I can't tell you how many times over the years people have come in my shop and told me how no good a particular brand of car or truck was and how they couldn't get 30,000 miles out of it with out falling apart.
The next day a guy comes in and tells me the same car or truck is the best he has ever owned and he has 130,000 miles on it and never an issue, only maintenance.
You should see the show at the truck stop when I get a flat tire and I whip my air jack and air gun and change it while 5 or 6 over weight drivers in sweat pants and flip flops watch in disbelief lol.

    Viceroy1 Thanks this.

It's possible that I just had a bad experience but my infinity was horrible. I ran it for 200k miles and at first I had zero bearing issues however I was greasing too much and pushed grease into the drum and my brakes stopped working. So after that I was careful about putting grease in but I started having the bearing issues.

On the contrast I ran my well used Miller 7 car for almost 2 years with zero issues and when I sold it, it had the same set of tires on it and I couldn't really tell that they had worn at all lol. I am pretty particular about maintenance, I check all 18 tires with a gauge before rolling out every morning

I don't believe in any way that Kaufman and infinity trailers are made well .
I will say with careful maintenance and careful operation they can be functional.
Also my operation runs a little different than most because I run snow birds.
I have the off season on both ends to do maintenance plus the shop to do it in.

Yeah that's a bit different than the 200k miles in 2 years that I ran mine.

Haven't run one personally but they look pretty sweet! As far as fitting big stuff I believe they beat all the other 7 cars.
