Inflation or Price Gouging???

Truckstops are always too expensive, the big boys are worse, and TA/Petro the worst of them. I buy my fluids at Wal-Mart as much as possible.

 

I fueled up last week in Monee Il I57 ex 335. The Petro and pilot were $3.56 a gal. Right across the expressway is a newer Thortons ts was $3.29. Unbelievable. The Petro and pilot were stacked up at the pumps and the thortons had several lanes open.
I'm a company driver and can fuel anywhere I want and which I do. They suggest I use loves when possible but I pretty much stay away from the big 3 as much as I can
It was probably $50 cheaper over all and in and out with no headaches

 

Price gouging

 

Price gouging 100%. Wiper blades in Walmart are $7.50. TA is $22 for one.

Oil in Walmart is $11 to $12.

TA is $22 to $25.

 

Online I get cast oil 5$ a gallon for my regular vehicles buy 5 at a time

 

I noticed same windshield fluid cost sometimes double ... especially on the east coast

 

If it's like this be glad you can get some..

 

TA Abilene Tx was 32.99 for a quart of 80/90. Off the wall brand called Mags or something.

The next little place East I can’t remember what it was called had the same brand for 8.99.

I don’t mind paying for convenience.....rape is another matter
