That's what I suspected would be the case, but wasn't sure, especially since the 11 meter band is in the middle of the 10&12 meter band that the alignment was done from the factory. It should work just fine, of course a tech selling you the radio will probably say different.

The conversion is simple, most radios are tuned As Night mentioned, a lot of radios don't need it because they are 10/12m radios. I would think that the best thing to do is to go to a major player to have it done right.

ANYTONE AT6666. Plug and play. Plenty of YouTube clips to convert it.

They seem complicated to use and really I don’t like that version I do like the older version Lincoln or HR2510 but finding one that’s clean would be very rare

Mostly on AM. This Mic sounds better on the other end(clear)compare to the stock mic, The SRA 198 sounded to muffle. I’ve tried the original RK56 as well. Don’t let the President look fool you….. it works better than it looks.

About the same to me. I stopped using radio in truck sometime ago. No one ever tells you anything anymore, except repeating what was told to tem as a child that caused low self esteem.

My radio use is mostly with the individuals that I know. We all run the same channel, company and O/O’s. When I dropped to 19 to let other drivers know if the coops are open or closed or a Bear in the area, I get NO reply. So I just go back up to the company channel.
