Your just flat out wrong. You attacking me personally and not talking about eobrs and landstar. The info you gave is simply wrong. If your leased on to landstar, how do they control you? Its one of the least controlling companies you can lease on to since there is no dispatch. When you run under someone else's authority there are rules. If you dont like it then do what you do now and run your own a authority. For many new O/o they dont want to jump in with their own authority and LS is a good option, Obviously they have more rules then your own authority, but they are pretty good for a big company to lease on to.

"mischievous and dumb posts." You just posted wrong information and your calling me mischievous?

I was leased to Landstar back in 2006 and 2007. Had a lady hit me head on and it put me out of business. Landstar was very good about. It wasn't my fault but I did have on a high value load so I was expecting them to blow their stack but they didn't. I've been doing the company thing ever since and I am at wits end with these lying, two faced, backstabbing, so and so.'s. Wanting to buy another truck. Got cash and looking for an older truck with no ECM. Talked to Landstar earlier this year and they said they wouldn't lease on a truck with no ECM because they couldn't use the EOBR. Thanks for all the info. I'll be checking that place in Abilene out.
