Info on Maverick Glass Division ????

    Hello everyone ! I'm just looking on some in-depth info regarding Mavericks Glass division, I am currently going to school at N.E.T.T.T.S (New England Tractor Trailer Training School) in Pawtucket,Rhode Island, and will be moving back to New York when I graduate and obtain my CDL A license. I'm with in the Hiring Map of the glass division..I'd just like some insite as to what it's like on a day today hauling glass,how many miles you get, and some of the pros and cons about the company,etc.

    Hey there, Sincere, I am in the glass division, we're hauling glass more often out of Geneva NY, Mt Holly Springs, PA, than out of NC these days. We keep busy with backhauls of steel, lumber, etc. Your location is good for Canadian glass loads & backhauls of other freight. Glass isn't easy to pull, tho nothing in flatbedding is "easy". But, caution in turns & curves, and attention to breaking distance will make you a good glass hauler! Hope I answered some of your questions! All the best to you.
