I talked to a recruiter and they were telling me they are not hiring till April (Maybe). Maybe its because of location???
Honestly, If I were in your shoes I would seek out federal or state funding for school. Those two companies are training companies. You do not want to be beholdened to them. Use Them to get enough experience to get a better job. Go to your state community college or Unemployment dept fpr info on funding. Also Shop around for training. Truck driving schools don´t really teach you much. So shop around for the best price! good kuck
All I know is that they cut the class size down to possilby two times a month rather than weekly (this information is about almost a month old) I know a friend of mine put his app in about Last week of January or First week of Febuary and he's going to class on the last week of March. It could also be the location, they are more likely to hire someone they know they can send a load to somewhere that is close to home for hometime. The south Freight is running rather slow. a lot of driver stuck in Texas (at least more than 24 hours).
