I talked to CFI yesterday and they are offering .36 cpm plus .5 cpm extra in Eastern states. plus I get either a t2000 or t600. just that alone makes me happy
-
A by-the-way, talked to him today, and he mentioned that those letters came signed by 'Recruiting Dept!' FYI, all recruiters lie, but Knight's also lie about Max Govd Speed (say its 66 mph, but many trucks are at 64 mph and some have Rewards so that your Idle Time must be a certain %). He said once, while carrying a heavy load out of the Virgin River Gorge of AZ going thru St. George, UT, his max govd speed dropped from 66 to 64 mph while 'climbing the long hill and during a 'pass'!! Needless to say, he was pissed!!

Go for it man. I haven't heard to many bad things about CFI. I do know they were bought out by Conway and you may have to be out on the road for quite awhile before you make it back to the house...

they don't pay $10 detention?

I've been with night since Feb 05.
In large part your experience with this company will be determined by the following(in order of importance).
Which terminal you run out of.
Which division you're physically in at the moment(iow, where u delivered)
The planner
Your dispatcher.
Some, well most actually, terminals at this company I absolutely wouldn't work for. I drive out of the Tulare terminal. They get me good loads and the shop there is top notch and quick. Pheonix terminal might as well paint there trucks white and put a lightening bolt on the side of them.
Seems whenever I wind up in Seattle I get screwed. This last month has been horrible because I took a load back to Georgia and they have real crappy freight back east right now.
That said, when I stay closer to home and avoid other terminals I get 2800+ miles per week. So that means California north of the grapevine, New Mexico, Eastern Oregon/Washington, Idaho. -
what about the indy terminal? what kinda money do you make aweek?
-
I got one question that everyone who read this post should ask... If this was your truck would you ever in a million years let this happen?? One call to the terminal manager and this Dispatcher would be toast.
-
Umm I understand its 0-200 miles 42CPM 200-300-38CPM 300-500 36CPM 500+ 34CPM to start with 3 1 CPM raises in the first year.
