this company has been around for 30+ years and been doing what they do for a long time. And we all do complain when we have issues like you are but not on here where no one will hear about it. We do it right i walk into the terminal and tell them whats wrong and why.

You coming on here and whineing about every little problem isnt going to change anything, if you want to change something do it right like we do and go to conover and Talk to the Terminal Manager...she will listen to you ya know this aint swift, she doesnt hide behind bullet proof glass you are free to talk to her.

Our Turn over rate isnt any hire then any other OTR company

Our Safestate score isnt in a bad spot by far, is it good NO why because drivers like you drive broken stuff around with you fingers crossed you dont get caught instead of manning up and getting it fixed BEFORE you leave.....

And unless your OTR exp is VERY old or you have a bad record you shouldnt be at .25cpm thus why we doubt your exp

And sending new drivers out has been going on 30+ years and we have far less accidents then most companies and if you actully look at the accidents and who is in them they are usually the guys that have years of exp not so much the new guys.....

I"ll bet you've worked at many places and it's "never you', always the company...If you went there from what you've read here, there shouldn't have been any surprises...Don't be ashamed to admit you can't cut it, many can't, you're not alone but blaming your short-comings on the company is weak....It seems the company will be better off without you, there are enough people that need hand-holding and extra assistance, ciao!...And with 15yrs experience, there's no way you're getting paid .25cpm, you blew your cover, you're a newbie that can't make the cut, IMO...

Well it is like this. There ain't no job perfect. I work for the government and the only good part about the job is a check gets deposited into my bank account every two weeks. I have been there going on 7 years (I have learned to tolerate a lot of BS). I just take the bad with the good (a paycheck)!

I am sure W/S ain't perfect but I don't think they can be that bad. Go work where I do and you will be running back to W/S! Trust me.

I beg to differ. While I was there, the number of accidents/incidents was higher in the 12 month and less category.

Although it was always lower than "most" companies.

i see so being a "grown up" means you blame everyone else for your problems? and expect your employer to put you and your needs before their biz? And cry about it all over the internet....

If thats what you want me to do then that aint gonna happen. I've posted about my problems with W/S as have most of us on here, but most of us on here understand that a company cannot make everyone happy. Would i like d/h on every run and consistantly 3000-4000 miles a week yes, but that isnt possible so why complain that is doesnt happen? I've never said w/s is a perfect company. There is no such thing in this industry as they all are in it for the money no adays and not so much about makeing a living for themselves, and others not just trying to get rich and sit on their #####.

W/S has their problems like all companies, but for the most part this is a very good company. They treat us good, they pay us good and ontime. And even thow in some extras every now and then....

I know we have all posted that W/S just like trucking in general isnt for everyone. We WORK here not just hold the steering wheel.

And as far as my posting I enjoy being on this forum and helping other drivers. So when someone comes on here with a question or whatever I reply....is that a crime now?

And as i know you have seen 99% of the time when people come on like the O/P they are full of sheet thus why we come on and straighten out the story so that when people reaserch W/S they dont get a mixed reveiw based off of bad info like allot of companies on here.

Absolutely it is, like the new guy who hit a COW or the new guy who rolled the truck and lost his life because he took a curve too fast...

For a company that doesn't use trainer time, it's record is phenomenal...You'd think we'd be much worse than the rest but it's not the case...Seems to me the other companies should be blowing us away in safety and accidents but they don't...Does that mean we're better drivers or that trainer time is extremely over-rated?...
