Yeah, I'd probably take my number off of there if it were me. Feel free to PM a number, but this could cause you unwanted problems.
-
He'll. I thought I PM'd it to you
Meltom Thanks this. -
Also, I wouldn't want people associating me with TX...
-
Ha! That's no insult. Texans know we stand obove the crowd
MachoCyclone, Windy M Jenner, browndawg and 1 other person Thank this. -
I also work for Hirschbach. (At least for the time being.) They have a good pay package, as long as they like you.
They are providing free satellite TV (including an in-sleeper TV), satellite radio, Refrigerator, APU, etc, all in a bid to get drivers to stay on the road all of the time and not want to go home.
But that is the current kick they are on, They seem to be wanting to discourage home-time any way that they can.
It is starting to appear that they are wanting to get rid of any driver who insists on their home-time.
Another problem is that while insurance is deducted from your pay, you don't get any type of proof of insurance for any of it.
The company does have the common problem of people in the dispatch office who don't have a clue as to the time requirements of any load. But that is the same with most companies.Meltom Thanks this. -
I have a different experience of home time here at Hirschbach, but I'm leasing. I was home for 7 days my last home time, but I also stay out 4-6 weeks at a time though. I agree wholeheartedly with the comment on no clues as to time requirments on a load. I just decline the impossible to deliver on time loads

Once upon a time they offered a trip planning course. Two options were presented, they chose the simpler one that made no sense. The other option was mathematically calculated with fixed wait times and instructions on what to do if the wait time was exceeded. The whole idea was scrapped probably a month later.
