The ant eater is the one and only KW T600 due to its nostril shaped grill, to me thats the only truck i will acknowledge thats aerodynamic since its the grandfather of them all, started in 1986. All the other aero trucks are just posers, no offense lol.

Especially with a cummins motor, jesus christ you might as well just turn in your man card and have a sex change! I mean come on! cooooome ooooon! A cummins? Why are they still even around? I guess thats why scrap prices have gone down, to much iron being sent into cummins factories. I dunno, back in the days when i was a kid and every truck out there running CA was a 425 CAT, anything brown (cummins at the time, even the color was turd color lmao!!!!) was frowned upon and stoned at the truck stops.

Guess it's all perspective.. as the new guy on the block I think you're driving a shoebox around... or an engorged stiffy ramrodding through tunnels. Your truck is a bit chubby IHMO :biggrin_25525:

So....there are lots of numbers here. :yes2557: "Numbers make me dizzy" :biggrin_25517:

Are we talking $10k for a rebuild, possibly as cheap as $7k if your lucky, as much as $20k if you were born to live in hell?

Thats just that its a REAL truck, not a limp noodle with a slooped hood. And a real engine, CATERPILLAR makes the world go round.

You are the new guy, and i am about 11 years younger than you but have been driving trucks about 9 years longer than you, i odnt care for them vacuum cleaners, they are not a truck, more of a mediujm duty car or osme ####.

If you have a newer truck with a newer engine 2003+, expect a bill of $15k+ for a complete rebuild

There is nothing aero about a 389 other than them alien headlights, so yes the T600 is way more aero.

Hey alot of people don't mind burning extra fuel to drive a retro classic truck - but I'm not the one tossin' the sissy flag at folks. In my eyes, anyone needing to fly their manliness at full mast usually has some shortage to cover. IMO.
