What success ??? Just by looking at the numbers posted by the OP, certainly do not show any measure of financial success.

I will now await the rest of the fan club to chime in and make the usual accusatory "You are a troll and just jealous and bitter blah blah blah".... By reading the responses from the fan club, proves the lack of basic business skills, let alone basic math.....

I doubt you'll understand this since you've formed your own opinions and have chosen not to offer any constructive advice to help anyone. It's about money to a certain extent but this isnt all about money. Correct me if I'm wrong and I'm sure you will, but many many of the most wealthy people in the world weren't successful at first in their ventures. Let's give the guy some time...
I'm not calling you names. The jealousy part I have no idea about. But you do sound bitter.

chances are with what you are hauling and the area you are hauling a hood would be near the same. You're probably not just cruising down the interstate at 70mph with the cruise set, and thats when you see the biggest difference in a hood and aero truck

You probably have a bad pressure switch. Personally I would have left that jumper wire he made hooked up and just turned the engine fan on full time till you can get it to a shop. And that's not a truck stop shop type of fix just so you know.

Well I know I don't lack any business skills. I'm like MacGyver up in here right now. I think I could make a hundred dollar bill out of some toothpaste, toilet paper and duct tape. Sometimes I wonder if I'm not just robbing banks in my sleep.

Anyways...I've run more than one profitable venture and I know #### well I don't belong in trucking right now, but things are working...I guess LOL!
I hope it won't piss you off too bad to know that I actually ask Pharm for ADVICE about trucking. Crazy? A little, yea...but somehow I doubt I'm going to be the guy that failed and comes on the board with a caveat that trying to pursue profits is futile in America.

Its true that the most successful people tend to come out of the woodwork. Those "legacies" you hear about where the kids inherit all the wealth of the former generation. I think most of them of lobbyists who have to pay people to hang out with them.

He is actually quite commical Wayne. :yes2557:27 posts and each of them with the same negativity.:biggrin_2552: I say funny because it is the naysayers of the world that make us realize we must be doing something right, otherwise they wouldn't be complaining. :biggrin_255: When they do stop its time to rethink our business plan.

Changing the subject here for a minute:
my clutch brake stopped working yester day, the clutch is still working, I either have to make sure when I stopped that I am in first or I have to shut the engine off and put in in first, push the clutch in and start the engine again. My question is is this and ajustment issue, I spent about 2 hours in stop in go traffic the day before (a lot of stopping), or does the clutch brake need to be replaced. Does anyone have any idea of the cost?

I would bet a dollar to a donut that there are many many profitable O/Os who have read this topic and just chuckled away at the lack of basic business acumen bantered about here from the fan club, and don't have the time to point out the poor business practices because it would just fall on deaf ears..................................................................................

It may just need adjusted. If it is broken a clutch brake is around $45 dollars plus labor. It is not a big deal but, it does need fixed before you do damage.
Also, I got your PM. My GM run is going strong for now. I was told my run will not go the last week of June for a week shut down. Then it will stay business as usual. I am Happy for now.

    JasonTheRock Thanks this.
