    40k was the window price for my '02 actually. I ended up getting it for $25k. That was all the finance company would value it at, so I didn't even have to negotiate... it was take it or leave it.

    600k miles.

    gen. / apu's in Cali have to be carb. compliant as far as i know. but elsewhere they are allowable. but you do have to know the in's and out's about the fuel. i.e. no gravity fed tanks, or you have to drain them after use,

    my buddys set up is > 14 gal pressurized fuel container with a quick connect. stored behind a fairing on his t2000.
