Holy COW! I can't believe what I think just happened.

I've been just trying to get a good fleet truck, like a Columbia or similar, looking in the 20k range. We were trying to get me financed through 3rd party lenders and nothing was working out, but one just came through.

Now I was pretty sure I was going to be able to negotiate a couple grand off a truck once I had some buying leverage, but it seems the bank restrictions did it all for me with thier limitations.

They would only finance 02's or better, and no more than 600k miles, and would not approve me for more than 18k actually financed after substantial downpayment.

So this guy had no choice but to find a truck that fit those specs and lower the price.

    I think I just got a 40k FREAKIN' PETERBILT 387 with ISX for 25k!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure I'm going to wake up and my life will still suck. No way this is going to actually happen? I guess we'll know in the next day or two when they actually let me drive off with it. :biggrin_2553:

By the way my authority went active yesterday!

I used the VIN from the KW T2000. They don't care who owns the truck you insure for whatever reason. I have to call and get it changed now though.

So, that's another secret to move things along quicker.
