    ouch everyone is looking for equipment. i was checking out a 2000 pete 379exhd yesterday 766,000 miles full sleeper beautiful truck for only $24,000 had me thinking

    that sucks. what's wrong with the trans? this is what i'm afraid of happening to me. i'd be up a creek if it did. The place sasquach got his truck from has some 05 387 TMC trucks coming in

    i thought TMC had there own dealer and sold all there trucks in house?

    I "think" it's the X,Y motors on top of the friggin thing getting hot and one quits which makes it throw a "Stuck in Gear" code to the ECM. The X,Y motors for it come as a complete unit for just over 500 and I can change them. Or, if I had the cash, I could go to Tampa and buy a used one, with a warranty, for about 1800 from a salvage place, but ain't exactly my first choice. What trans you have Al?

    rob,looks like it's time to go see earl..hope he makes you a better deal then i was going to get..those guys at Economy transport suck don't they? I knew when they had to take all there trailers to the auction the party was over..now i don't feel so bad about being screwed by them as it would have happened sooner or later anyway. Walt
