Al, sent you a pm with a link that has 3 (I think) of your transmission. I called Tampa Truck and Parts, one of the listings, and found mine. Link shows 3 of yours also. Might call them just to ask how much if you're curious. They can tell you approximate mileage and have a 6 month warranty.

I think you should be able to beat them down on the price atleast because "Buddy who had it really beat the hell out of it eh?" lol lol

Is someone else saying the dealer who owns it is broke?? Sounds like deal time to me!!!

I started out driving owning 2 trucks. We were contracted to a company to haul all there freight. It only consisted of loads from ga to Fl. and i found a broker to get back hauls from about 9-10 months out of the year. This is the gravy train for most owner ops and it only took 2.5 years to go under. there were alot of factor like not getting paid for loads and fuel price's. But it just goes to show you how hard it really is.

I really appreciate that input. Who was messing you over for the load pay? What broker did you use?

I would buy it if I could. Heavy debt is a doozie, though. At least unsecured credit cards are easy to dismiss during a crisis, huh...pharm? huh? huh? lol

I don't owe enough to ever skip out on the cards, but if I had tens of thousands and it looked that I would never climb out of the whole, I guess I could take a 10 year strike. That is a whole other ball of wax though. Ethical issue, I guess. Do you spend the rest of your life paying $500/month for something that can never be repaid? Or do you make a deal with the devil? I've wondered what someone in that position might do.
