Well given PP's backing skills, having a spread would be interesting. I realized after I pm'd a list of trailers that many were spreads :biggrin_2555::biggrin_2555::biggrin_2555:. Then came the put it between experience. Maybe in a few more months:yes2557:.

Nope, wouldn't even allow me to shovel it. No way they were letting me crawl onto or into my trailer on their property or at their direction.

Face it, they're not open on Sundays to cut breaks or offer solutions. :biggrin_25511:

I don't see how they can stop you from crawling into "your" trailer. It's yours!

There's a shop up the street that says they have the windshield wiper part, sounds like it. I asked when they could do it... sounded like he thought I was nuts... "you need us to install it?". Well they're swamped until Thursday.

So I'm wondering, am I being dumb and this is an easy swap or should I wait until thursday?

I know how to turn some screws and hook up some wires. I'm just not sure what I expect to see under that dash, and of course I don't want to wake any monsters under there given the short that is lurking.

Depends on what part you're putting on. It goes on under the dash? I wouldn't think it would be too hard unless changing wires. If so just mark the wires.

It's the dash switch. It's a round knob you can push in to spray the window, then turn it for intermittent, low, and hi.

I'm pretty sure it's the switch because intermittent went first, then Hi, now nothing. So the contact point narrowed until it disappeared completely. Doesn't sound like the motor.

Im not 100% on your truck but I would guess u just pull the dash panel take the switch out replace with the new one. Should be pretty easy.

I would imagine the switch would be plug and play...you might even be able to pop it right out of the dash...and clip the new one in?? I wouldn't guarantee that is the problem though (although it would be nice). I'm thinking that wire bundle may be the source of your dead short and the dead short has burnt up the switch and/or motor though....
