Somehow in my travels, I've been to all the above mentioned wide spots in the road.

Where the local residents got the ideas for the names is beyond me!!!!!!

Big Bone Lick State Park.........and............Beaverlick, both in Boone County Kentucky. Northwest of the I-71 and I-75 split.

 

The little village that I live in is right in the middle of 2900 acres of upland forest,swamp, tall grasses and a Caorolinian forest called Skunks Misery. Just google Skunks Misery and read about it.

Mullets are Bad Axe for sure. Maybe if I grow a pencil 'stache, I could be from both...
