That's pretty much what I was telling 'em....either that or pry the glass out of the lil' "doggy window on the bottom of the passenger door with a screwdriver.

    Rob,
I have been reading MedicineMan, Broncrider and your post for what seems like a month now. I am very glad you have made it work by just getting out there and busting you're a@#.
I would like to ask you a question if you don't mind. Do you think the winter time will change the loads that you will pull with your trailer you have now? Thank you very much for the very informative and entertaining post.
    Tony

I expect it will slow a bit, but shouldn't be devastating. I know this summer I've hauled all sorts of grain from last year's harvest, so there's always some around. Also we do a lot of fertilizer now, but the animals are eating grass, in the winter we will likely switch to feed quite a bit, also year-round.

Those are my thoughts/hopes, but I really won't know until I do my first winter.

You should be Ok, we slowed a bit last winter, but not much. Plus, you should start hauling salt, to the road departments. Those winter salt loads pay decent. I think you'll be fine. :biggrin_25525:

About $1.15 to $1.20 all true miles in, after broker's cut.

I was wondering if it worth it to swtich from reefer to hopper. Seeing those numbers is making me think twice about making the suggestion to my friend.
