My Dad recieved a call early this morning that our driver Pete had died. He died of a possible heart attack during the night. I am glad he was at home instead of out on the road.
Pete was 64 yrs. old. He had been a truck driver for over 40 years. Drivers like Pete are a blessing. The knowledge they have and share are priceless. There were a few times when Rob needed advice that we had to call Pete for help. He never let us down.
It is a sad day for our trucking company.

Don't tell them. :biggrin_25513: It's none of their flippin business, companies you apply to, that is. I guess you would be lying when you don't mention it on your long form physical when they ask for surgeries you've had, but oh well. I've had 2 surgeries on my left knee and I don't say a word. :biggrin_25522: It's my problem not a liability for them. We know our bodies better than anyone. If you know you can drive without issues (I mean issues that are safety related, I imagine you will always have the issue of pain, lord knows I do) then don't let them hold you back with info they don't need to know to begin with.:biggrin_25512:
I wish you well on a speedy recovery.:yes2557:

I like you Dino even if your spelling/grammar generally needs translating. :biggrin_2559:

A driver once told me that kind of HooHoo (my word not his:biggrin_255:) is like hot dogs. If you really knew what was in it or where it came from you wouldn't eat it.
