Is anyone really surprised it was impounded? The city/county governments love to put a hook on anything that doesn't move for 24 hours.

Whats it gonna cost? Probably $350 plus $50 a day.

Just be glad it didn't grow legs and decide to go on an extended vacation down to Mexico.

    I just might be a slick #######. $350 plus $75 per day.

Anyway, the load is 400 miles from it's destination and pays $1750. The tow guy is interested in repowering it for me for a wash on the money. I'm setting it up with Eclipse and meeting some resistance, but so far so good.

I have to forfeight the load pay of course but at least it stops the hemmorhaging.

I agree. This might be the best way out of it. What will be the final disposition of the trailer should this plan go into effect? Will he be able to store it for free until you come get it?

Yes, said he'd let me slide on that. Won't bring it back through Charlotte for me, but at least it will be safe and free where I left it.

Sounds good. It'll be quite the bobtail to go grab it then, but at least it wont cost you as much.

I swear, I'm into this like a freakin close Steelers or Penn State football game. You've got ME all stressed out!! (I get way too involved into movies too)

If it's going back to the coop
Ask him to buy a Kingpin lock and deal with where to get the key after you get your truck fixed.
