Yes and no..... The downfall of the super 10 is usually the driver. The super 10 speed transmission was a step in the direction to produce the current automated transmissions now being offered. Like all things mechanical everything progresses.... Look at how engines have progressed in the last 50 years, carb's, fuel injection, materials, ECT. Some ideas work better than others
It is remarkable that a billion dollar company would produce such a flawed design, mass produce it and offer it to the industry as the best thing since sliced bread. Anyone with a brain would know that drivers do not read the operators manual before jumping in the cab. And they are not going to change. So you don't produce a design that requires the driver not to do something that they normally do, (such as coasting in neutral with the stick in the middle). Perhaps they designed it as a way to make more revenue from destroyed boxes.
No matter how hard they try they still have to contend with the human factor. Build something idiot proof and only an idiot will buy it.
You might be able to electronically derate the engine to get by with a weaker model. Keep that in mind too.
