With the money being made (or not being made, as the case may be) in trucking, consulting just might be the wave of the future.

Dude seriously I've gotten really lean with spending. Everything I did I had to. I haven't even cut myself a check yet because frankly there's just nothing there for SS and taxes. All I've done is pay my housing once since I started.

BUT, it's not doom and gloom. The money really is there. I just need another 2 weeks of NOTHING going wrong and I should be able to take 4 or 5k extra this month beyond expenses. On top of the repairs and tows, I had to pay everything twice in about 5 weeks of actual trucking.

    Should smooth out this month.

Every-time Pharm calls me with a problem I have flashbacks of when I was in the same mess.

Everyone else sends a bill lol.. I probably wouldn't even notice it before sending off a check.

Seriously, that would be probably the only bill well worth it :biggrin_25520:

Trucking is going to get easier for you Pharm. I promise. Every week you experience another challenge. I am sure one of these days you will be one of these guys that can honestly say they have see or done it all. I am glad I am along for the ride.

I think your doing just fine; especially for someone who is just starting out, Ive never messed with a hopper bottom before, but it seems your not having any problems keeping busy, are you mainly going through brokers?

I have one fantastic dedicated broker. No I don't sit, that's for sure. Doing almost 4k miles a week. It's not a loadboard system after all, though they do have one. This company actually brokers or sells the products being hauled between providers and buyers, then they work out the delivery and that's where I (we) come in. Everytime a product is sold, a trucker is assigned the delivery.
