    Dear State of Louisiana,

Would it be possible for you to find out what kind of lane marking paint Florida uses on their roads and then apply some to your concrete wagon trails? The Walmart Colorplace paint you're currently using just isn't working.

    Thanks ever so much,

    Mr. Truck Driver

    P.S.
    Concrete blows... try asphalt sometime.

Kinda like parts of Houston on 10...even worse when it's raining.

What part are you in Barcode?

I came up 171 and 71 from Deridder. I'm in Texarkana at the J now... time for a little nap then off to the Rock for an AM delivery.

Louisiana does need to go back to paving school, & for more than just a refresher course. Have debated whether the shoulder or ditch would be smoother in some spots. ;)

If there was actually a foundation for the road to sit on the roads would
    be alot smoother...

They can repave roads out here and months later the same exact pot
holes show up in the same spots over and over..

Just recently they re did a hwy and before they paved it they dug out all
the spots where it was really bad and TRIED to make a good footing but even
that doesn't really hold up all that well.

Coon, I figured out what LA needs to do many years ago.......bridge the entire state.

They do better bridge than highway.

Although parts of US 90 up from Houma to Lafayette aint too bad.....the newer parts that is!!!!!!

Yeah, noticed that on 55 & particularly in MS south of Jackson. The top looked newer, but as you said, it is like nothing underneath of it.

    Speaking of Mississippi...

    Dear Mississippi,

A transit level is a very useful tool when building a road. I recommend you buy one or two.
