Instant O/O and Loadboards II

    ok stoy of the day!!!!!!rob pay attention:biggrin_25523: well this week started off with a bang, saterdays bill gos in to tonight along with the 2 very good loads that i did monday and tuesday!!!!!the fair well check from crst, But this is where rob needs to listen lol ,(i find this increadably funny),,,, modays run was from shelbyville IN to crawfordville IN to wheeling WV,ok not a big deal 460 miles,but here was the problem,i sat there from 8,30am till 11 am waiting on one 45,000 coil ....while im sitting there i call our broker in pittsburg ,who gets me good rates and short runs for coild out of there, Boom he calls back ,how soon till you get to whelling i said at this rate about 6,30 pm monday ,,coolpick up 5 coild going to gainsville ,GA,im thinking why cant they do this all the time ?????wtf no-dead-head,,so the problem here is it has to be in ga buy tuesday)hot load))) yah right,paid $2,75 a mile plus 400 for fuel and was a 680 mile run$$$$$ ill take it,so heres where the plot thickens, i think to myself hey you just got unloaded and they can shove you in and get you right out???WRONG!!! didnt get loaded till 12 am 15 trucks were ahead of me W-t-f-,,,,alrighty,my little mind starts working and doctor the log book and after you get loaded haul ### and get to goergia,,,well this is ok except for all the west vigina montains and vigina mountains any how i fuel up for my fuel drinking mountain run,and as luck would have it at 7 am THE VIGINA SCALES WERE OPEN(ROB) well i got randomly picked for an inspection,im thinking oh #### my #### log book there gona kill me!!!!!!but evadently i was told either im a #### good lier or just to #### honest for my own good ,one he was please with my soon to be long gone truck,and its condition,everything works!!!!! but i was sweeting the log book he took,the only thing wrong he could say anything about is for my starting point its west vigina not virging!!!!!opps and the abs light on the trailer didnt work,but i hd exsplained to him the #### i went thru to get it fixed,,,,,,,,,,,,,the dot inspectors word!!!!!!if you have a proble like that again dont hesatate to bring it buy(if your in the area) we wont inspect the truck but we will pt the trailer out of service just show us the problem,the big companys are make the guys run #### equipment and the drivers are paying the price!!!!!! well if your eyes aret tired from reading the bottom line is i never went to bed from monday morn till typeing this now and now one knows the differnce,,,log book or other wise lol

    kwsan make no mistake i will always be steering and gearing,,,wheather it be a truck,crane,bulldozer,trackhoe.or a 100 ton crane,,,,,i allways keep me skills up to par as best i can lol but thanks for the kind word

    I've driven thru cornfields that were smoother!

    Did they finally get the road paving done over by Nucor?

    yes they did but the lot at nucor is almost as bad as driving around chicago or better yet that #### toll road I-77 comeing out of west virgina ,,,,,,,:biggrin_25516: $24 bucks to drive something that solid concret and as smooth as a rock pit that the roads havent been graded in 3 weeks of driving on them:biggrin_2551:

    Good, you lucky I found out the hard way they didn't get finished! After I found my teeth I got out and looked to make sure I didn't lose a trans or rearend.

    I'd agree with all that about I70 in Indiana, and I'll raise the I40 in OK - when PP and me drove through there a few weeks ago I had to re-attach a fairing on the truck after. Also like to mention the fine job about 50 state employees were doing that day of running spot scales everywhere - we got pulled twice just for a chat and a look-see. We're headed west for the next few days again, and debating the best shot between FL and NM. Haven't been posting much - just driving and sleeping and more driving - hope everyone's busy and getting their best out there - more to post later.

    Yep, I40 W right before and all the way through Oklahoma City. Had to stop and make sure I still had cargo on my flatbed.

    Fl to NM?

    Easy, I10 all the way through TX, right into NM if you are going to "Lost Crutches", it's direct. Going to Albuquerque, just take 25N as soon as you get into Lost Crutches.
