No, the Bankhead tunnel is off the last exit before you get to the tunnel on I-10... And you definitely wouldn't get a condo through it without a major haircut.:biggrin_25525:

I think the tunnel they came up on was the Bankhead on 98, not the one on I10.

I'll chew a while.......If you can't or even worse won't read a map and are going to insist on relying "ON THE BOX"...........QUIT...........NOW.

You left out one of the most important parts of this deal we call truck driving.......trip planning.

What happens if and when the "Wonder Box".....quits working.??????

Makes me wonder how we ever delivered a load of freight before the invention of these "BOXES"........................

There's two tunnels. The one "on" I-10 has plenty of clearance. The one, Bankhead Tunnel (the old two lane tunnel), you have to take Exit 27 from the Westbound side and cross over Hwy 90. It takes you into the downtown business district. There is no entrance Eastbound to Bankhead on I-10. Government Street runs East into it. I-10 tunnel is something else. You'd have killed your condo with the safety stops before you got into Bankhead which is what they hit........apparently. :biggrin_2554:

Seems to be a common theme on the GPS, and I fully agree with all of you. I've got a sore spot with Atlases right now - I own 2 of the 2009 lam. and I have none at the moment - long story. Short version - I loaned them to someone "short term" about 6 months ago and have been trying to ask nicely (about 5 times so far) for their return. They did go down in price for the 2010 issue ($30?!), and I'm dying without one, but I'm a stubborn man and I refuse to buy something I should have in my hand. To a fault? YES!

Now, just to ask a question, can anyone find the page that shows the "ridiculously low-hanging, illegal" traffic signals? It would've been terrific information. To be totally honest, I find it really difficult to find proper place and time for food and facility stops that never occurred in order to make the logs jive WITHOUT an atlas - UH OH! who released the wolves?!
