Insufficient privileges

If you can be more specific about the threads that you're having trouble posting in, we can help you more. As already mentioned, if you're getting the 'Insufficient privileges to post' message, it's likely that you're trying to post into a thread that has been closed.

If that's the case, you should see a little padlock at the very top and bottom of the thread. Admittedly, those locks could stand to be a little bit bigger. Also, at the bottom of the thread you will see a line that reads:

Thread Status: Not open for further replies.

This is a little different, in that you're likely trying to see something in one of the password-protected forums - Politics or Unmoderated. For those, you'll have to type in the password:

thickskin

Other than that, we occasionally move a thread out of sight instead of deleting it. If you've previously posted in a thread and get that message when trying to get back to the thread, that's likely what is happening.
