Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds

Probably not. You have no verifiable experience and no knowledge of the industry.
-
Gotta find a company who is willing to 'train' you. Yea you've got your CDL with 40 hours of in the truck experience, but you'll still want waaaayy more training that then. This way, once the company decides to put you on their insurance, they might be a little more pliable with adding a young, new driver to the insurance. I know when I first started the boss paid 30% more for me then others with no accidents, clean record and clean CVOR..

superhill56, labagiamf and papa1953 Thank this.

Progressive will probably be your only choice. If someone is willing to insure
you beside them, I would be willing to bet that Progressive will still be cheaper...
I've been with them for the past year and looking to change since they don't
offer General Liability in my state. Other than that, their rates are hard to beat
and dealing with them direct has been a great experience... -

I just spent the last two weeks trying about 8 different companies and brokers.
Progressive is the only one who would insure me with my CDL just being issued this month.superhill56 Thanks this. -
Does Progressive offer Cargo insurance? When I had them they allowed you to go out of radius for like 5 weeks a year and you could buy more weeks. Not sure if they still do that.
-
I carry $100k of cargo liability.....just need General Liability that they don't offer. Stupid! -
Ya was wondering just how you get around the stupid Radius restriction ?
in detail ?
hummmm ?
