    Depends on what he’s hauling, my uncle has no cargo but don’t really need it pulling around a dump trailer, although some paving places may require it.

    you should just have to add the truck to the policy and really only change physical damage for what the truck is worth compared to the other one, oh and of course pay them more money....

    Think of insurance as gambling on risk. One truck and one load is a certain amount of risk, two trucks increases that risk that something could happen. They charge more for more risk, simple as that.
