They told me the same thing, but it never happened. I was in my 30's before I was paying the same for liability as my dad was.

the insurance company will claim that yearly rates go up, and claims against them are all over the place,. and rebuilding wrecks or other payouts, cost more now then when you first started. there's always a reason from thier perspective.

I wouldn't hire a person under 27, unless he had a wife and two kids already

Id say dump trailer is part of your problem also. I know they didn't like it when I told them I was hauling aluminum on the flatbed. My suggestion to you is find a small local company and run local. Pull whatever they have. If that means you have to park your dump trailer. My company I'm leased to keeps 15%. I buy fuel bobtail insurance and my plate. They pay road tax. When we are slow I fund my own work. They then keep $50. I made 133000 in 2017, I was home Every night and stay with 150 from my home. I'm happy with that, I really have no choice but to be, I'm stuck only so many places I can go just like you. I bought 2 trucks and 2 trailers in 2017 there both paid for.. YOU ARE BETTER OFF TO LEASE RIGHT NOW.

That's not really fair. I get that you might not want to hire an 18 year old, but 27? Once you're over 25, you're like... more careful and the CDL + truck driving experience should be enough to overlook the age.

You know after 30 your reflexes get slower. So it's actually physically better for people under 27 to drive a truck. But I guess after 30 comes better experience.

What about if he will ask someone else who is older and has CDL (like father) to get insurance for his truck.

Is this guy legally be allowed to drive the truck which is on another persons name? I mean the truck is insured not a person who drives it right!?

So the police should be fine if he ever gets stop. What you guys think?

No can do. Insurance companies are way ahead of the game. They always ask if your gonna be driving it or is someone else is. And they ask for all drivers licenses that will be driving the truck.
