Ok lemme me get this straight, 20 y/o, owns 2 trucks 2 trailers, PAID FOR ??? What am I doing with my life
-
Probably old iron. But anyhow, why is this kid questioning how to get lower rates than 60k. He’s a kid and a major liability. Nobody gonna insure a kid with that type of equipment on the road. I don’t know about you, I wouldn’t trust a kid in my truck let alone some cowboy 30 year old ####### with absolutely no experience.
You need age and with age is maturity and experience before an insurance company is willing to put their neck on the line and have to possibility shell out millions in a wrongful death lawsuit -
Old iron + paid off = much better than what I'm working with !
-
I added to my post as well. I have old iron but this kid probably has something not even road worthy but some buddy of his slapped some stickers on it anyway
-
Could be right on that . . .
-
Yes.. it was rough.. but I'm a happy man now..

LOL you are truly funny. Some of you guys think if it’s not new it’s a piece of junk. I probably take better care of my equipment than most on here.

Thanks for qouted my post. you took the post out of context it was directed at the OP who is 19 and cant afford the insurance rates. I too own and operate an old 379 with old cat. Yes i keep it clean and very well maintained. You could literally eat off the motor. And NO, i would never consider owning a new bs truck with all those emissions issues. So Relax

Yeah you need a cool 1 million dollars in a bank account that you can’t touch to self insure. Also have to have a good FMCSA score.
