Had CDL since 1998. Pretty Clean Driving Record. No Citations on my MVR in past 5 years.
2 Accidents, One was Sept 2018 and One was Sept 2019.
Both were Non Preventable and other party was cited and on both accident reports it was stated as the other drivers fault.
Called OOIDA and they are doing a Re-Look, as I told them I was not going to pay for this increase with a clean driving record.
On the phone they pulled my MVR and said that due to 2 Non Preventable accidents they looked at it as really 1 preventable accident and according to the statistics I was probably going to be in a preventable accident.
WOW, talk about getting cut in the gut and it not even being your fault.
Looking for advice and or suggestions

Whatever you do, stay away from Progressive. Search for what they are doing to me. I’ve paid, $10,000 just for liability in the 5 months I’ve had them. They still are asking for $4,000 more saying that I’m behind on payments. My initial quote was $11k just for liability, no comp/collision, cargo, or trailer interchange. $750k for liability is all I need for now. Paid my down payment of $2,300 and a week later paid $1,080 for my first month. That was in Dec 2019. My second payment shouldn’t have been until February 2020 for $1,080. In January 2020 Progressive increased my premium over 50% and demand that I pay an extra $4,000. My monthly rate went from $1,080 to $2,300 a month. Each time I pay them, they increase my next payment. 2 weeks ago, I gave them $3,000. Last week, I gave them $500. Today, I gave them $1,000. Guess what they want me to pay now? I’ll help you. $3,399. They want this by the 13th of this month. This has been going on since the policy changed in January. I’m leaving out the previous payments I have made such as the payment I made in March for $2,230. Do the math. It doesn’t add up. They are milking me for as much money as they can while changing my policy to keep me behind. They are justifying this by saying it’s due to my garaging address. But the address they are using, I’ve never parked my truck there. They refuse to acknowledge my logs which prove where my truck has been and even where I shut down at.
To make a long story short. Stay away from Progressive.jdrentzjr, Buckeyes614, rachi and 1 other person Thank this.
