I am going to be going to buying my first truck to lease onto Landstar. What insurance would I need to get the truck home. What insurance companies would you recommend. Thanks in advance.

Can’t help with your questions, but I was wondering where you’re getting your truck from? Lone Mountain or somewhere else?

IF you are leasing on with Landstar, did you ask them if they will extend coverage for you to bobtail home after purchase?
Any company that will give you coverage is the company to use.
Good luck on your new adventure in the trucking world. -
Landstar and Ooida don’t play well together........
Speed_Drums Thanks this. -
Hi Ashbrook29 I have used fundamentalinsurancebrokers.com.au/truck-insurance and found them really good to use, I am not sure what part of the world you are from I am based in Australia. You could always get insurance and then cancel once you have traveled the necessary distance to get the truck where you need to. Best of luck and hope that helps.

Way back when I was leasing onto LS, I got temporary insurance through OOIDA so I could take the truck to get the required LS inspection. Don't know if they still do this but I would ask.
